A Schuylkill County man is facing charges after he took a vehicle, with permission, but never returned it.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said a 73-year-old woman from Mar Lin gave permission to Robert Valentine, 45, also of Mar Lin, to use her car to drive to Schuylkill Haven.Instead, Valentine drove to Delaware and never came back. Valentine also ignored several of the victim's requests to return the vehicle. Valentine took the car on Jan. 9.Charges of theft of a motor vehicle and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle has been filed against Valentine, troopers said.
