A fire broke out just after 4 a.m. today at a residence along Schleicher Lane, East Penn Township. According to reports, East Penn Township, Bowmanstown and Mahoning Township fire departments responded to the structure fire to battle the blaze. At approximately 8:45 a.m., crews were again called to the same location after the fire rekindled at the residence.
