The 14th Annual Pocono Polar Bear Plunge will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16 at Hennings Pond, Albrightsville.

Participants must preregister at Robert Christian's Restaurant, Route 940, Pocono Lake or by calling 570-646-6600 by Feb. 9. There is a fee and participants must sign a liability waiver. No wetsuits are allowed.Proceeds will be donated to April Schaefer, who is fighting a serious illness. The goal is to raise $5,000 for her family.Each registered participant will receive a commemorative sweat shirt, food and beverages.
