Since losing to Upper Dauphin's Conner Boyer at the Schuylkill League Tournament, Gentile is 9-0. Rex picked up a forfeit victory in Northern Lehigh's match against Palmerton last week, which was his only match. Neff suffered a 10-0 major decision defeat at the hands of Blue Mountain's Hunter Blankenhorn, who is 23-7 this season, in his only match last week. Wehr notched a forfeit win in Northwestern's contest against Palisades a week ago, which was his only action of the week.113 - 1. Len Ogozalek, Panther Valley, Sr. (28-4); 2. (10-4).Notes - Ogozalek posted a 5-0 mark at the Coal Cracker Tournament to claim the title at 113 pounds. The senior also picked up his second victory over McHugh in just over a week, this time a 4-0 decision. In addition to his strong showing over the weekend, Ogozalek also picked up a 15-9 decision victory over Schuylkill Valley's Jethro Solomon last Thursday. McHugh went 3-2 over the weekend en route to a third place finish. Two of his three wins came by fall in the first period. The freshman also earned a victory by fall over Pine Grove's Anthony Yearger earlier in the week. Kemmerer picked up a pin against Blue Mountain's Colton Bender in his only match last week, which was at 120 pounds. Jacobi went 3-2 at the New Oxford Invitational last week, and 4-2 overall. The sophomore's win against Pocono Mountain East's Mark Jordan came in overtime by a 5-4 decision. Dengler did not wrestle last week.120 - 1. Kenny Yanovich, Pleasant Valley, Sr. (26-3); 2. (11-9).Notes - Yanovich went 4-1 last week, including 3-1 at the New Oxford Invitational, where he finished second at 120 pounds. The senior was forced to forfeit the championship match against Kobin Myers of Boiling Springs due to a shoulder injury mid-way through the second period with the score tied 2-2. It doesn't appear as though the injury will keep Yanovich out for an extended period of time. Goida went 4-2 last week and 4-1 at the Coal Cracker Tournament en route to a second place finish at 120 pounds. Both of Goida's losses were close, as the sophomore suffered a 3-1 (SV) setback to Schuylkill Valley's Mason Shuman on Thursday and a 10-9 loss to Dieruff's Emmanuel Shockley on Saturday. Goida defeated Shockley, who was the top-seed in the tournament, 3-2 earlier in the day. Bernhard lost his only match last week, dropping a 1-0 decision to Palisades' Jacob Wasser at 113 pounds. Wasser is 22-1 this season. Lorenzo picked up a win via forfeit in Lehighton's match against Blue Mountain last week. Hemingway pinned Palmerton's Brandon Traugher in his only match and has now won three in a row and six of his last seven bouts.126 - 1. Colin Mashack, Tamaqua, Sr. (23-1); 2. Four of the senior's wins came by fall in just under one minute, while the other came via technical fall eight seconds before the end of the first period. Mashack also posted a pin in under one minute in his other match last week against Pine Grove's Daniel Diaz. Schmall picked up a tech. fall over Palmerton's Daniel Russo in his only match last week. The sophomore has won his last 10 matches, five by fall and three by tech. fall. Durishin turned in another impressive performance last week, picking up a 6-5 overtime victory against Blue Mountain's Bryant Penberth in his only match last week. White earned a 16-2 major decision victory over Palisades' Nick Vinciguerra in his only bout last week. McCue went 3-3 last week, including 3-2 at the New Oxford Invitational. The junior was dominant otherwise, picking up two wins by fall and one by tech. fall en route to a second place finish, while also going 5-1 overall last week. Capobianco suffered a 15-0 (2:23) tech. fall setback to Rynkiewicz on Saturday. The sophomore went 2-3 at the tournament, finishing in fourth place. Farber picked up a first period pin over Plamerton's Travis Stroup in his only match last week. The freshman is 7-2 in his last nine matches.138 - 1. Hunter Davidyock, Panther Valley, Jr. (17-14); 2. Davidyock's other loss last week came in Panther Valley's dual against Schuylkill Valley's Tanner White, who is 23-10 this year. Gornick suffered a loss by fall to Blue Mountain's Christian Gosch in his only match last week. Gosch is 22-10 this season. Ringler did not wrestle last week.145 - 1. With Ringler out, Evans has wrestled at 138 the last two weeks. Gouger, who has wrestled nine of his last 12 matches at 145 pounds, joins the group this week after being at 152 all season. Gouger contested all five of his matches at 145 last week, going 2-3, including 2-2 at the New Oxford Invitational. Madera went 4-1 at the Coal Cracker Tournament, where he finished third. Madera's loss came to Lackawanna Trail's Billy Lee, who is 24-6 this season. The freshman is 8-2 in his last 10 matches. Young lost by fall to Palmerton's Zack Christman in his only match last week. (14-14).Notes - Graver keeps the top spot after earning a forfeit victory against Northern Lehigh in his only match last week. Graver's last three wins have come via forfeit. Keefe moves from 170 pounds to 160 this week, where he has wrestled his last seven matches. That move knocks everyone else back a spot in what is now one of the deepest weight classes in the rankings. Keefe went 5-2 last week, including 4-2 at the New Oxford Invitational, where he finished fifth at 160 pounds. Farber picked up a decision victory over Palmerton's Jared Mooney at 170 pounds in his only match last week. Farber's previous nine matches were at 160 pounds. Cann picked up a win by fall over Blue Mountain's Cole Angstadt at 152 pounds in his only match last week. Geisinger went 2-3 and finished fourth at the Coal Cracker Tournament as the top-seed at 160 pounds. The sophomore picked up a win over Columbia-Montour Vo-Tech's Connor Pringle in his other match last week.170 - 1. Austin Arnold, Northern Lehigh, Jr. (16-9); 2. Matt Buss, Panther Valley, Jr. (15-13); 3. Timothy Gergor, Palmerton, Jr. (3-2).Notes - Arnold picked up a win over Palmerton's Mathew Wolfe at 182 pounds in his only match last week. Prior to that bout, Arnold had wrestled his previous nine matches at 170. The junior is 8-1 in his last nine matches. Buss went 3-2 at the Coal Cracker Tournament over the weekend, where he finished fifth. The junior lost his other bout last week to Schuylkill Valley's Jacob Bailey. Frey is 7-2 in his last nine matches. Thomas joins the group after going 6-3 last week. The sophomore went 5-3 at the New Oxford Invitational where he finished sixth at 182 pounds. Collin Moyer went 2-3 last week, including 2-2 at the Coal Cracker Tournament, where he placed fifth at 182 pounds. Mooney suffered an 8-1 decision loss at 170 pounds to Northern Lehigh's Nate Farber in his only match last week. Dylan Moyer did not wrestle last week.195 - 1. Mathew Wolfe, Jr. (11-7).Notes - Nase went 4-1 at the Coal Cracker Tournament over the weekend, finishing second at 195 pounds. Nase's loss came to Dieruff's Jovon Reyes, who is 24-1 this season. Nase bounced back quickly though, pinning Oliphant in his next match. Nase is 5-1 in his last six matches, with four wins coming by fall, two in the first period. Oliphant went 1-4 at the tournament, placing sixth. Wolfe lost to Northern Lehigh's Austin Arnold at 182 pounds last week, his second consecutive defeat.220 - 1. Rian Shubeck, Panther Valley, Jr. (23-4); 2. Stephen Scheib, Northern Lehigh, Jr. (9-7).Notes - Shubeck went 4-0 at the Coal Cracker Tournament, claiming the title at 220 pounds. The junior also picked up a win via fall over Schuylkill Valley's Nick Scheidt earlier in the week. Shubeck has won his last six matches, all by fall. Scheib did not wrestle last week.285 - 1.
