Bob and Connie Reinhart, Palmerton, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

They were married on Jan. 18, 1964 at the Helen Eakin Eisenhower Chapel on the Penn State Campus. They met while students at Penn State University.They have a daughter, Cindy and a son, Bob.Bob worked at the New Jersey Zinc Company until it closed in 1970, when he went to work for Rodale Press as a statistician.Connie worked at Blue Ridge Sportswear as a bookkeeper.They have been active with the Palmerton Camera Club for many years, and Connie has served as president of the organization. She also sings with the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church choir.A celebration in honor of the occasion was held at the Woodstone Country Club on their special day, attended by family and friends. The highlight of the evening was a roast/toast to the couple given by their grandson Ben.
