The West Ward Rod and Gun Club at Sixth Street and Moser Avenue in Coaldale, was robbed and ransacked during a burglary discovered at 6:30 a.m. today, by Joseph Cipko of Lansford, an official of the club.

According to Sgt. John Tonkin of the Coaldale police, who is heading the investigation with an assist from the Tamaqua Police Department, the burglary took place some time after 12:45 a.m. and apparently was the work of more than one person.
