Driver is cited after crash in Monroe

Two vehicles were damaged and a driver was cited in a crash at 9:50 a.m. Jan. 18 on SR115 in Tobyhanna Township, Monroe County.

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks said Harold L. Belden, 60, of Blakeslee, was cited for overtaking a vehicle on the left after the incident.The crash happened when he was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer northbound, the same direction in which a 2008 Ford F250 truck operated by Erika M. Ingemar, 28, of North Cape May, N.J., was traveling. Police said both vehicles changed from the right to left lane, at which time the F250 stopped to make a U-turn and the Trailblazer crashed into its driver's side.Both vehicles sustained disabling damages, police said.Ingemar complained of minor neck pain after the crash.
