PPL has given to the Carbon Chamber and Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC) grants totaling $10,000 for 2013. PPL has been a long-time supporter of economic development and Chamber initiatives.

Paul Canevari, PPL Pocono Regional Affairs Director, sits on the CCEDC board and has been a valued contributor to the success of the organization. He had this to say about the CCEDC during their Annual Dinner Celebration:"As the organization continues to provide support and programs to the businesses of Carbon County, PPL will also continue to provide guidance and support to assist them in their mission. We are very dedicated to the businesses of Carbon County and pleased to partner with this valuable organization."The grants received in 2013 will support a number of initiatives and programs, including the current Leadership Carbon class as well as a focused business survey, all supporting the needs of Carbon County businesses."PPL continues to see the vision of the organization to create a strong business climate in Carbon County.
