State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks are investigating a theft incident that happened between 4:30-9:30 a.m. Jan. 16 at 607 Fourth St., Norwegian Township.

The victim is Laurie Bugdanavage, 45, of Pottsville.She told police someone removed an undetermined amount of blank checks, $380 in cash and an iPhone 4 charges from her dining room table during the above hours and fled the scene in an unknown direction.
