Slippery roads result in 4 crashes in 2 days

The Mahoning Township police investigated four crashes in just two days, all because of slippery roads.

On Tuesday, Mahoning Township Police investigated three crashes, according to Audie Mertz, officer in charge of the Mahoning Township Police Department.The first was when a vehicle overturned Tuesday evening on Route 902 (Bugzie's Hill) near Strauss Valley Drive. Police said one injury occurred.Also Tuesday, a crash was reported with an injury on Route 902 near Breezewood Drive.None of the injuries were reported life-threatening.The third crash Tuesday occurred on Route 443 at the intersection with Mahoning Mountain Road. There were no injuries in this mishap.Wednesday, a Blue Mountain Health System transport van crashed off Lower Nis Hollow Drive in the Nis Hollow Mobile Home Park. A passenger was in the van, but no injuries were reported.
