Palmerton Area Library, 402 Delaware Ave., will host a 'Meet the Author' event from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Jan. 18.

Brandon Nelson, 15, wrote "Denver Downunder," which is now available for purchase on Amazon, in Kindle format only.The story starts in Moscow, Russia where the Russians are planning to seize robotic intelligence to cripple the United States cyber defense systems. The action moves to Denver, Colo. and the East Coast.Nelson will talk about why he wrote the book and how he got it published.
