A Monroe County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following a one-vehicle crash that occurred about 5:12 a.m. on Jan. 1.

State police at Fern Ridge said Nathan G. Zarzycki, 21, of Kunkletown, was northbound on Route 209 at the Wawa store in Chestnuthill Township when he failed to negotiate a turn and struck the front porch of a home next to the Wawa.Zarzycki was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest, troopers said. Damages were minor to the vehicle and no injuries were reported.
