A Berks County driver escaped injured when his car left a Schuylkill County road and traveled through a wooded area.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Luke T. Weller, 24, of Bethel, was driving a 2001 Lincoln Continental southbound on SR183 about 8:01 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 5, in Wayne Township, when, for unknown reasons, his vehicle left the road, and traveled over an area of snow which was recently plowed. It then impacted a snow bank. After impact the car continued to travel south through a wooded area where it came to rest.The car had to be towed from the scene. Weller was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
