State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the attempted theft of a truck in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said the incident occurred at the Gulf Service Station located at 410 Route 61 in North Manheim Township.Troopers said unknown criminals located an unlocked 2013 Ford E450 U-Haul truck. They attempted to "pop" the ignition in an attempt to steal the truck but failed. They then fled the scene.The incident occurred sometime between Jan. 3 at 10:30 p.m. and Jan. 4 at 10 a.m.
