State police at the Lehighton barracks said a vehicle fled the scene of a mishap with another vehicle at 11:25 a.m. Dec. 13 on Meixsell Valley Road in Ross Township.

Police said James E. Horstman, 43, of Stroudsburg, was driving a 2013 GMC Denali westbound when an unknown vehicle, traveling east, crossed the center line and struck the Denali's driver's side rearview mirror and rear quarter panel. Police said the fleeing vehicle is guessed to be an early 1990s black Ford van.Horstman was uninjured.
