Thomas L. Dahl, 46, of Lansford, escaped injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 24 on Route 248 in Bowmanstown.

State police at the Lehighton barracks said he was driving a 2002 Ford E350 westbound in the right lane of Route. 248, just west of the intersection of 248W and White Street. Police said he lost control of the vehicle on the snow-covered roadway, causing it to strike a concrete barrier on the north side of the roadway, and spin clockwise before coming to rest on the shoulder of the road facing southeast.
