Doctor publishes textbook

Dr. Charles K. Herman, chief medical executive and chair of surgery at Pocono Health Systems, is the lead editor of a new textbook released at the annual meeting of the American Society for Aesthetic Surgery held in San Francisco.

The textbook, titled "Encyclopedia of Aesthetic Rejuvenation Through Volume Enhancement," presents state-of-the-art techniques used to rejuvenate various areas of the body, including the face, neck, breasts, abdomen, buttocks, hands and legs. The book has more than 60 contributors from around the world, including the United States, France, Mexico, Turkey, Greece, Italy, Spain and Brazil, all considered experts in their respective surgical fields.Covering popular body rejuvenating techniques in plastic surgery, the textbook is a comprehensive reference that features procedures for all areas of the body and provides plastic surgeons with one core reference they can easily consult before performing a procedure. Several techniques are presented for each procedure, allowing surgeons to choose the one that best suits the patient.
