Meeting rescheduled

The monthly meeting of the Jim Thorpe Touchdown Club has been rescheduled for 6 p.m., Monday, Feb. 10, in the commons area of the high school. These monthly meetings are open to all parents of children participating in the football program at Jim Thorpe.Friends and other relatives of the children are also invited to attend meetings and help in anyway with the booster club program.Bible studyThe ecumenical women's Bible study group will meet at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 12, in St. John's Lutheran Church, South Avenue. The group is open to all women of the community and the group is now studying the Gospel of Mark.Joan DeAcetis is the leader and the group meetings on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month.BloodmobileThe American Red Cross bloodmobile will be stationed at Memorial Hall from 1-6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19. Please consider donating a pint of blood to this worthy cause. To be eligible to donate you must be 17 years of age and older.
