Two vehicles were damaged in a mishap at the parking lot of the Chestnuthill Diner in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, state police at the Fern Ridge barracks said.

The accident happened at 11 a.m. Dec. 25 when a 1998 Jeep Cherokee struck the driver;s side rear door of a 2008 Toyota Highlander as the latter was exiting the parking lot. Police said the Cherokee had turned right onto McIlhaney Road when it struck the Highlander.No one was injured in the mishap.Police did not reveal the names of the operators.
