No one was hurt in a two-vehicle mishap at 6:23 p.m. Dec. 26 on Route 115 in Chestnuthill Township.

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks said the accident happened when a 2000 Volkswagen Jetta driven by Joseph C. Voccia, 18, of Effort, traveling south on rt. 115, went out of control as it rounded a cirve and struck a 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue operated by John S. Gorgone, 51, of Albrightsville. The latter was traveling north at the time.Police said Voccia will be cited for failure to drive at a safe speed.
