Juan Zamudio Ruis, 41, of Shenandoah, was arrested by state police at the Frackville barracks for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Police said he was stopped at 11:35 p.m. Dec. 21 on Pattersonville Road in Union Township for a traffic violation, at which time police learned he was under the influence of alcohol. He was taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center, Pottsville, for testing to determine his blood-alcohol content.
