Four 18-year-old men, including Daniel Ventura of 2425 Park Place, Slatington, were arrested on drug and alcohol-related charges when Upper Macungie Township police responded to an incident at 9:21 p.m. Dec. 21 at the Upper Macungie Township Park on Route 100.

Ventura was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, public drunkenness and trespassing.Police said they came upon the foursome while on patrol, and upon speaking to them discovered an odor of marijuana. Police said all four showed signs of intoxication and all of them admitted to smoking marijuana.During the response, police said Michael Lewis, of Allentown, passed out and fell down. He was transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital by Cetronia Ambulance.More paraphernalia was located during a search of Ventura's vehicle, police said.Lewis was charged with public drunkenness and trespassing, as was Tyler Specht, also of Allentown. The fourth man, Mihn Tang of Whitehall, was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, public drunkenness and trespassing.
