Eric T. Sokol, 27, of 2934 Scout House Road, Slatington, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol by borough police.

Police said he was observed driving a vehicle that failed to stop for a red light at the intersection of Main and Walnut streets at 12:46 a.m. Dec. 23.he will also be cited for the red light violation, police said.
