One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 4:28 p.m. Dec. 16 on Interstate 80 in Tunkhannock Township.

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks said Jonathan Martinez-Reynoso, 30, of Anchorage, Alaska, sustained minor injuries, complaining of neck pains, and was transported to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, by the Pocono Mountain EMS.Police said he was driving a 2008 Honda Accord eastbound on the interstate when it drifted off to the northern shoulder and struck a guide rail. The operator then lost control of the vehicle, which struck the front end of another eastbound vehicle, a 2007 Toyota Camry driven by Manishkumar Patel, 42, of Des Plains, Ill. Police said both vehicles then struck the southern guide rails before coming to a halt.There was a passenger in each vehicle. Neither was hurt, nor was Manishkumar.Police said Martinez-Reynoso will be cited for careless driving.
