Tamaqua sweeps ACC in swimming

Tamaqua swept Allentown Central Catholic in swimming and Northwestern cruised to an easy wrestling victory in scholastic sports action on Monday.

SWIMMINGACC-TamaquaTamaqua swept Allentown Central Catholic in swimming action.The Lady Raiders dominated the Vikettes, 118-66, while the Blue Raider guys pulled out a close, one-point decision, 93-92.In the boys meet, the 400 freestyle relay event proved to be the decider as the team of Ben Turrano, Matt Stanek, Jake Wenzel and Jake Kropp prevailed under pressure.
