Due to the upcoming holidays, the Carbon County Navy Club will hold a short meeting at 7 p.m., on Monday, Dec. 16, at the Nesquehoning VFW, 300 E. Center St., followed by light refreshments and a show and tell about Navy experiences.

The club asks that members bring cruise books, photos or souvenirs of their travels with the Navy.New members and associate members are welcome to attend and applications will be available. Anyone 18 and older who was in a waterborne military branch can join the club; while Army and Air Corp are welcome to become associate members.
