Christmas crafts slated at CCEEC

Carbon County Environmental Education Center will offer the opportunity to create several Christmas crafts at 6 p.m., Friday, Dec. 13 at the center, 151 E. White Bear Drive, Summit Hill.

CCEEC will provide all the materials, including grapevines, birch logs and other natural materials. Please bring a glue gun and any small decorations that you would like to use or share.All ages are welcome. There is a nominal fee per craft.Participants may also choose instead to complete a jewelry project for an higher fee. The jewelry project will involve learning how to make earrings and will allow participants to take home three pairs for giving or gifting.For the children, there will be several crafts available as well as a very special craft and legend to learn about.For more information or to register, call 570-645-8597.
