Carbon break-ins

State police at Fern Ridge reported on burglaries and other incidents investigated by troopers.

A home at 43 Milton Way, Towamensing Trails, Penn Forest Township, Carbon County, was entered by smashing a bedroom window. Taken was a PlayStation 2. The entry occurred sometime between Nov. 11 and Sunday, Nov. 24. The home is owned by Frank Picconi, of Vineland, N.J.Troopers said the home of Miceal George, 61, of 100 Parker Trail, Albrightsville, Penn Forest Township, was entered by breaking a window. Taken were several bottles of alcoholic beverages. Entry occurred sometime between 7 a.m. and 6:15 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22.Troopers said a construction site along Lake Mineola Road and SR209, behind the ESSA branch bank, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, and entered and 500 gallons of diesel fuel and a fuel pump were removed from a holding tank. The tank is own by Northeast Site Contractors, of East Stroudsburg. The theft occurred sometime between 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 21 and 7 a.m. on Nov. 22.The Thrills Night Club, at 1877 SR715, Jackson Township, was entered sometime between Nov. 15-23. Removed were copper wire, electrical breaker switches, bottles of liquor and electronics. The property is owned by Ira Elliot Weiner, 64, of Stroudsburg, troopers said.Jimmy Podmayerski, 57, of Little Ferry, N.J., reported the water well pump on his property at 120 Marick Lane, Pocono Pines development, in Jackson Township, was damaged sometime between Nov. 15-23.Anyone with information concerning any of these incidents is asked to call troopers at 570-646-2271.
