Junior Karoline Vavra, a Panther Valley graduate, was second in the 50 free (25.37), 100 free (54.92) and 200 free (2:01.24) and helped East Stroudsburg University win the 200 medley relay at the Kutztown Golden Bear Invitational this past weekend.

The Warriors won three of the five relays - 200 medley, 400 medley and 800 free - and had 637 points, outpacing Montclair State (610), Kutztown (464), Salisbury (314) and Ocean County College (26).Vavra's performance in the 100 free was also a PSAC qualifying time. The junior had a PSAC qualifying time in the 50 free at the Lock Haven dual in October.The Warriors will compete in the Diamond City Invitational in Wilkes-Barre next weekend.
