A Slatington driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence.

Borough police said Richard Gruber, 46, of 29 Fourth St., was stopped about 10:16 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14, at W. Franklin St. and Oak Alley, for careless driving. He was found to be under the influence and placed under arrest.
