A McAdoo woman was cited after she took a walk along South Kennedy Drive on Sept. 7. The problem with her walking was the fact that she was wearing only a short shirt.

Officers were dispatched to the scene at 8:50 a.m. and observed Brandy Kern sitting on the steps at 228 S. Kennedy Dr. Kern lives at 36 rear W. Blaine Street. She seemed to be unaware of her surroundings; her speech was slurred, but she denied having any drugs or alcohol in her system. She was then transported to Hazleton General Hospital for evaluation.Kern was cited for public lewdness.
