Two teenage boys are being sought for a burglary in Schuylkill County. It was one of two burglaries investigated by state police at Schuylkill Haven, along with two theft incidents.
Troopers said the boys forced their way into a building at 19 Municipal Road, West Brunswick Township, about 2:34 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 9. Entry was gained by smashing a window at the south side of the building, reaching inside and opening a window. Once inside, the two observed security cameras. They then quickly exited the building through a door at the south side of the building. Nothing was taken.The two were white, troopers said. One was wearing a red hoodie and carrying a black backpack. The second was wearing a black hoodie. Both had blue jeans on and white sneakers.The second entry occurred at the Family Dollar store at 30 Forest Drive, Hegins Township. Entry was made by smashing a front door window with a large rock. Once inside the suspects took an undetermined amount of the medicine Mucinex, a cold-flu type drug, and other related products. The entry was reported at 5:04 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 11.Also, multiple tools were removed from a construction site located at 22 Thomas St., in Cressona. The tools were taken sometime between 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, and 6:20 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 11. The tools are the property of Dave Himmelberger Construction Inc., of Bernville, Berks County.Troopers said an all-terrain vehicle was removed from 2001 Fair Road, Wayne Township. Troopers said unknown criminals took a 1994 Yamaha Timberwolf 250 ATV belonging to Todd Strouse, 33, of Schuylkill Haven sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 4:45 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 10.Anyone with information concerning any of these incidents is asked to call troopers at 570-739-1330.
