State police at Bethlehem said they arrested a man for promoting prostitution at the Knights Inn Hotel in Hanover Township.

Deyunqis Thaso Legrand of Allentown was arrested while he was retrieving his portion of the profit and other accessories from a room at the hotel.Police said the incidents happened Nov. 7-8, when it was discovered a female subject was conducting the business of prostitution in a room at the hotel. It was later discovered Legrand was listed as the "manager/supervisor/pimp" of the operation, and would retrieve a profit from the daily business.Police said a surveillance detail was set up at the hotel with the aid of the female, after which time the business was conducted and Legrand arrested when he went to the room to retrieve the profit.
