Lions Clubs offering reduced membership rates to vets

Lions Clubs are offering U.S. veterans a special opportunity to serve their community.

The Involve a U.S. Veteran program is a nationwide initiative sponsored by Lions Clubs International that offers qualified U.S. veterans a reduced membership fee when joining a local Lions club. The waiver is available to the first 5,000 U.S. veterans, and the program runs through June 30, 2015.Eligible veterans include Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard personnel who are retired or were honorably-discharged from these services.
