James Sverchek has been notified that he attained the dean's list at the University of Utah, Salt Lake City with a GPA of 3.74.

He is currently majoring in civil and environmental engineering.James has decided to continue his education at the University of Pittsburgh beginning with the fall 2013 term.He is currently enrolled in the Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts & Sciences and will be accepted into the Swanson School of Engineering once he completes the required courses at the university.James is the son of Mark and Anne Sverchek of Lehighton and the grandson of the late John and Veronica Sverchek of Lansford and the late William and Anna Corkill of Jim Thorpe.
