Nesquehoning police investigated a two-vehicle accident on Nov. 7 at the intersection of Route 209 (Catawissa Street) and Hazard Street. No one was injured.

Police said John Becker, 168 E. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning, was attempting to pull out from Hazard Street in his 2010 Toyota Yaris, when his vehicle entered the path of and struck a Dodge truck operated by Waldemar Volkers, 135 E. Railroad St., Nesquehoning. The latter was traveling south on Route 209 and was unable to stop when the vehicle entered its path.
