Break-ins probed

State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating two burglaries.

Troopers said a home at 202 Bishop Circle, Towamensing Trails, Penn Forest Township, Carbon County, was entered sometime between Oct. 28-30, through an unlocked rear door.Removed from the home was a television from an upstairs living room and another TV from a downstairs recreation room. Also taken was a case of beer from a refrigerator.The home is owned by Christopher Patrick McCawley, of Hamilton, N.J., troopers said.The second break-in occurred at a residence at 213 Effort Village Drive, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. Removed from the home were pipes from the basement area. The entry occurred sometime between Oct. 14-31.The home is owned by Fountainhead Development Group, of Brodheadsville.Anyone with information concerning either incident is asked to call troopers at 570-646-2271.
