Two arrested in Walmart theft; one on the loose

Three people have been charged by Rush Township Police in connection with a series of retail theft incidents. Two of the people have been arrested, while the third, Lisa E. Serafine, 52, is a fugitive. Felony warrants have been issued for Serafine's arrest.

Nancy M. Kolasensky, 40, and Dominic J. Kolasensky, 47, were arrested this week in connection with a Sept. 9 incident at the Hometown Commons Walmart. Dominic was found to be wanted by Pennsylvania State Police as well as the U.S. Marshals Service. He was transferred to state police custody and will later face charges of theft and receiving stolen property to be filed by Rush Township Police.Kolasensky was arraigned before District Judge James Kilker, Shenandoah, on a charge of retail theft for the Sept. 9 incident. Due to her 12 previous convictions for retail theft, as well as the additional charges of possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia, bail was set at $15,000 straight cash. She also faces charges of theft and receiving stolen property for a serious of thefts committed at the Hometown Walmart during September and October.
