November 2, 1974 Marian's defense intercepts five passes and the Colts score twice in the fourth quarter to gain a 20-6 upset win over Nativity. Jim Abromitis and Ralph Serignese both finish with two picks while Bob Turbach also comes up with an interception. Abromitis, on a seven-yard run, and Turnbach, on a two-yard plunge, account for the fourth quarter scores. Marian, coached by Chuck Rocconi, also gains a two-yard TD run from Pete Albano.
