A Slatington mobile home was severely damaged after a fire broke out Thursday night and displaced a family of three.

The fire began at around 9:15 p.m. at 5484 Harlow Court, in the Glencrest Mobile Home Park in Washington Township.Neffs and Friedens fire companies were dispatched to the scene, at which time flames could be seen from the front bedroom.No injuries were reported, and no other mobile homes were affected.The American Red Cross Greater Lehigh Valley Chapter responded to the single-family fire.The Red Cross provided the family with lodging and food, and will follow up with the family for additional services, as needed.
