Blue Mountain Health System and Carbon County Agency On Aging will co-host a Senior Health and Information Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, at the Lehighton Recreation Center at 243 S. 8th St. in Lehighton.

Free health screenings will be offered, including cholesterol, blood pressure, pulse oximetry and pulmonary (lung) function. EKGs, by appointment, will be offered by the Health System's cardiology department. Free flu and pneumonia vaccines will also be available.In addition to the health screenings, departments from Blue Mountain Health System and other health and social organizations in Carbon and surrounding counties will be offering door prizes, goodies, and information that focuses on concerns and issues that are important and relevant to people 55 years of age and older.There is no charge to attend the health and information fair.
