A petition was filed Friday afternoon in the Schuylkill County Courts on behalf of the Tamaqua Area Education Association to hold the Tamaqua Area School District and its nine board members in contempt for failing to comply with a court order to fulfill the terms of a bargaining agreement reached in court during the early morning hours of Monday, Oct. 11.

Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin fixed the date for hearing the petition for 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 16 in Court Room One in Pottsville.
