Anthony Bodine, 50, of Beaver Run Drive, Mahoning Township, has been charged with simple assault and harassment.

Mahoning police said that on Sept. 4, they were dispatched to Bridge Street and Bankway in Lehighton. On arrival they met with Lehighton Police and a female who had visible physical injuries.The female told police she was assaulted by Bodine, with whom she resided. She was transported to a hospital for treatment of her injuries.
