An arrest warrant has been issued for a Towamensing Township man who police say attempted to steal an electric scooter.

Mahoning Township Police said they are seeking Troy S. Rehrig, 27.According to police in the township, a retail theft was reported at Wal-Mart. A man attempted to steal the electronic scooter valued at $209.88, according to police.Audie Mertz, officer in charge of the township's police department, said Rehrig was stopped by loss prevention. He allegedly failed to comply with the loss prevention personnel and fled in a 1989 Jeep Comanche pick-up truck.Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call Mahoning Township Police at 570-386-2241.
