An induction of officers for the Marian High School Future Business Leaders of America Club was held Oct. 9 during weekly Mass. Officers for the 2013-14 school year are, from left, Cassidy DeCosmo, reporter; Briana Kubishin, treasurer; Mary Susan McAndrew, president; Emily Betterly, vice president; Faith Befano, parliamentarian; and Nick Hopeck, secretary. More than 80 students were inducted into Marian's FBLA chapter this year. The students have been active this year, raising money for THON and partnering with St. Luke's Cancer Center to raise breast cancer awareness. Upcoming activities include assisting with the PAFBLA state project, partnering with a student from Holy Family Academy in a Community Services for Sight Program and conducting an Avon fundraiser.
