PVEN's needs list

PVEN has sent out a list of needs: toddler and infant snow pants; boys' clothes sizes 4-18, especially jeans; men's sweat pants and coats; XL and XXL shirts.They also need food items like peanut butter, jelly, mac and cheese, tuna, soup, cereal and anything else nonperishable.All items can be dropped off at St. Matthew's UCC during office hours of Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. and Sundays from 8-11:30 a.m.Trick or TreatEldred Township's Trick or Treat night will be from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 31. If you would like to participate, please leave your porch light on.Trunk or TreatSt. Matthew's will hold a free Trunk or Treat event for the community's children from 3-5 p.m., Sunday. There will be candy, a pumpkin craft, cupcake decorating, face painting and two lucky people will win a hand-carved pumpkin by artist David Dion of Saylorsburg.Items for service peoplePlease bring items for care packages for the service men and women serving overseas to St. Matthew's UCC, to be shipped by Operation: Touch of Home by the end of the month during office hours of Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. and Sundays from 8-11:30 a.m.Exercising seniorsThere is a low-impact exercise class for those over 55 at the Kunkletown Volunteer Fire Company every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30-10 a.m.
