The Sunday School of St. John's Lutheran Church, South Avenue, will hold its annual Halloween party from 6:30-8 p.m. on Monday in the auditorium of the church. There will be prizes and games for the children in the nursery through sixth grade.The children that attend Sunday School are reminded that their World Hunger offering boxes are to be returned on Sunday, Nov. 3. They will present them during the 10:30 a.m. worship service of the church. The Rev. Muhr will offer a children's time during the service.Class of 1964Members of the Jim Thorpe High School Class of 1964 will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27 at Memorial Park. The group will be participating in the annual Halloween parade in town. Members of the class not contacted about parading, may join the others at the park on Sunday.
