A 17-year-old Tamaqua male has been cited following an incident in front of Stosh and Stan's Pool Hall in Tamaqua.

Police were on patrol at 6 p.m., Oct. 19 when an officer observed a male outside the pool hall acting in a suspicious manner. The officer stopped and questioned the teen, who was smoking a cigarette at the time.Due to the teen's uncooperative stance, the officer cited him for violating a borough ordinance prohibiting minors from smoking.
