DUI arrests reported

Pocono Mountain Regional police reported on the following driving under the influence arrests made by officers.

On Saturday, Oct. 12, officers responded to a reported accident at the entrance to A Pocono Country Place in Coolbaugh Township. On scene officers found a vehicle in a ditch near the main gate of the development.The driver was identified as Latoya Hinton, 27, of Tobyhanna. Hinton was found to be under the influence of alcohol and failed field sobriety tests. Hinton was placed under arrest for DUI and taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results.On Sunday, Oct. 13, about 2:20 a.m. officers observed a vehicle traveling northbound on SR186, at 7 Nations Drive, in Coolbaugh Township, on the wrong side of the road, then serving back to the proper lane of travel.A vehicle stop was made and the driver was identified as William Teller, 49, of Tobyhanna. He was found to be under the influence of alcohol and failed field sobriety tests. He was then placed under arrest and taken to the county DUI center in Snydersville for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results.On Aug. 31, about 9:15 p.m. officers responded to a report of an accident, a car into the woods, off Route 196 at Seven Nations. On scene officers found the vehicle to be gone. A second call was received in which the caller was behind the vehicle involved in the crash and was now entering A Pocono Country Place development.Security guards stopped the vehicle. The driver was identified as Valerie Titanski, 40, of Tobyhanna. She was found to be impaired and under the influence of medications. She failed field sobriety tests and was taken to the DUI center for a blood test.The test results indicated Titanski was under the influence of several prescription narcotics.
