Democrats for Change will present Bar Johnston, longtime activist, former special assistant to Mayor Ed Pawlowski of Allentown and professional political consultant. She will speak at the next meeting, at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 22 at the Inn at Jim Thorpe. Her topics will be "The Sestak Campaign for Senate" and "Best Practices for Democratic Clubs." Also on the agenda will be Roy Christman, Ph.D. who will lead the group in identifying the "movers and shakers" of Carbon County.
